Week 10:Collaborative Unit

REFLECTION

• First of all, I am very happy to finish this cooperation project.

• Cooperation projects are challenging, and the completion of

cooperation projects cannot be achieved without exchanges and

communication between all parties. I learned a lot from this collaboration,

• First of all, when I completed the 3D character part, I once again

learned the application process and working principle of character

modeling and mapping software. In the part of model binding, I definitely

admit that I am not a skilled binding engineer, but the team members

gave me confidence to continue to complete the binding part. So that I

can gain more professional binding skills in the study of binding model.

• Secondly, I also made A mistake in character modeling, which was that

I directly built the character according to the 2D sketch, but I did not

consider that the sketch was A POSS, so I directly continued the creation,

resulting in the second modification of the completed model later, which

wasted some time. I will also reflect on this mistake. This error will be

avoided in later tasks.

• I did the sound part after I finished the task of 3D characters. Since we

are a cooperative group and I am also interested in music, I also chose

the sound and suitable music for this cooperative project.

• Through this cooperation project, I have learned a lot of professional

skills. Through the cooperation with students of different majors, I have

learned the advantages and applicable scope of their majors. Through

such cooperation, I have increased our understanding and application of

majors, which is the biggest harvest for me this time.

Week 9:Collaborative Unit

Model changes were made this week
Because when creating the model, the model I created was A poss
and the model needed for motion capture was T poss
So I have changed the model this week.
However, while continuing with the modifications, the model became broken and I repaired it.

Week 5:Collaborative Unit

During the week I got a 2D three-view of the figure

I’m going to start taking these 2D pictures of people and representing them in MAYA

Week 4:Collaboration

This week we looked for some references on what we needed for our topic.
Among them are references to characters as well as references to scenes.

Week 3:Collaborative projects

We will focus on the futuristic aesthetic of cyberpunk.
We relate this aesthetic to making environmental scenes and combine it with a cyberpunk fashion style.
There are many different perspectives on this style and we want to discover how we can interpret this style in our own creations .
This will be visualised in a 3D animated film.

Week 2 :Collaborative

In this week’s session we had a collaborative type game.
We each passed a piece of paper, but we would divide the paper into three parts, each of us not knowing what one of the parts would be, and finally combining them to become one piece. I thought this was interesting because this way we would create something interesting

The second game, which was each person out set three rules and continued the game. I also thought this was interesting

Week 1 :collaborative meeting

This week we decided on our theme and we mainly wanted to use cyberpunk elements as our theme this time.

Secondly, we discussed the techniques we might use, the characters, the set, the camera design and so on, and I think that’s a good place to start.

We also divided up the work and each of us did our own part, I was responsible for the 3D model of the whole character. Mapping.

I had to work with the 2D animation students and I would take the character models that we had discussed and implement them in MAYA.
