I will begin by outlining the relationship between computer technology and 3D animation.
My own point of view is to describe how the advent of paperless animation has changed the traditional mode of animation and how animation software is constantly being updated.
Technological advances have influenced the artistic expression of 3D animation, which I will describe in five small ways: the realism of animation effects, the expressive effect of camera use, the rendering of details, the sense of spatial movement, the effect of light and shadow
Finally, I will conclude that the development of animation technology and the art of animation is a mutually reinforcing relationship, and that only through the continuous improvement of animation technology can we produce better quality animation works.

This week I decided on my topic and completed the introductory section as well as the abstract, keywords, etc.
Abstract: In the context of the development of information technology, about the development of computer technology has been promoted, 3D animation technology has been continuously enhanced. The application of 3D animation has made all aspects of characters, scenes and light effects come to life, with various technical effects reaching the realm of falseness. In the combination of computer technology and animation art 3D animation has enriched people’s imagination, for the current expressive power of 3D animation technology and the impact to elaborate

During this week I have learnt some advice on the details of my dissertation, the introduction section is to go over the topic and give the reader the key parts of the report, there are also critical concepts that need to be present, describe my topic through a thematic essay, and in the final conclusion state what results have been obtained through this research.
I searched for two reference books that would be perfect for my thesis
Beane, A. (2012). 3D animation essentials. John Wiley & Sons.
Kerlow, I. V. (2009). The art of 3D computer animation and effects. John Wiley & Sons.
During the week we continued our grouping and I shared our topics with the VFX and 3D animation students.
I think each of the students had very interesting topics for us to continue discussing and we got together to discuss the format of the thesis, bibliographies etc. as well as discussing topics with each other and asking each other questions and answering them for each other.
My current topic is the impact of computer technology on 3D animation and how it is reflected
This topic may be a bit broad, but in detail, we are 3D animation majors and our profession is inextricably linked to the advancement of computer technology, so as time progresses, what we consider to be advanced technology at the moment may be outdated technology in a few years.
The advice I received from my panelists was
Narrow this down to the embodiment of 3D animation, as this is a bit broad it would be much better if it was the impact of computer technology on animation Narrowing it down will help me to continue with this article
Original Paragraph:
The authenticity of a documentary is ‘deeply linked to notions of realism and the idea that documentary images are linked to notions of realism and the idea that documentary images bear evidence of events that actually happened, by virtue of the indexical relationship between image and reality’
Horness Roe. A. (2013) Animated Documentary. Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan.
Paraphrased Paragraph:
Honess Roe (2013, animated documentary) argues that images are connected to realism and that documentary authenticity is related to the concept of realism, thus proving the idea that documentary images and realism are evidence of what actually happened
This blog is about the life of the Canadian animation artist Ryan Larkin, using a filming technique that takes the form of a dialogue between the creator and the created, documented in the form of broken figures and perverse sound effects.
The “photo-realist” and “psychological realist” positions of creation, the expression of psychology and emotion in the form of images
A subjective and creative reconstruction of history, reality, culture and psychology by the creative subject on the basis of “factual core” through audio-visual images. So documentary animation, with the development of scientific records and the changing subjective consciousness of people, the world and to the extent that the separation of the animation from the documentary is either impossible, or would render the inherent meaning of the film incomprehensible’ (Honess Roe, 2013: 10)
The methods of creating documentary films have also evolved. But at its core, it is undeniable that the documentary is a form of recording created by man.
Experimental animation: circuit
The films is set on a planet and is hand-drawn in 2D animations. The story from the film shows that perhaps every action we take be connected to something that happens later. so things r all interconnected.

A traditional hand-drawn animations, driven by a subtle ticking soundtrack, the director infiltrates her film this sense of the passage of time, and the clever use of circles and objects spinning and rotating helps to convey this concept to her audience

But by examining such a grand and imposing subject in such a minimalist way the film offers a little room for introspection it’s as if the film is wiling u to consider your place on the planet and how to your actions however small have an impact on your environment it’s an important message and we need it now more the ever.

One of my more favourite films is Atonement

The film is a memoir of a story that reflects on Briony’s eternal regret, the tragedy of a momentary emotional fever that resulted in irreparable regret and unforgiveness. Briony is faced with countless days and nights of mental anguish, regret and guilt for the mistakes she has made.
About 8 stages
1.You
Briony is a young girl with a vivid imagination and a love of writing, sensitive and curious at the age of puberty, with all the ignorance of a thirteen year old girl.
2.Need
Briony has rehearsed her new play and wants Robbie to come and see it, so that she can be sure of her secret love for him.Because of the “truth” she has seen with her own eyes and her jealousy over her sister Cecilia’s affair with Robbie.
3.Go
Briony happens to stumble upon her sister Cecilia cheating on her with Robbie in her study. Her sister barges in and sees the scene and cries in horror, thinking that the hero is bullying her sister. When Briony’s cousin Laura happens to be raped that night, Briony imagines that the rapist is Robbie and turns him in to the police. Robbie is then unjustly imprisoned.

4.Search
Robbie goes to prison and later rushes off to war, along with his sister who leaves home in anger and doesn’t see her family. Sister and Robbie are constantly creating opportunities to see each other, yet the war is brutal and each meeting is short.
5.Find
This perjury by her sister not only ruined Robbie’s and her sister’s lives, but equally ruined her own. She will be blaming herself deeply for this lie for the rest of her life
6.Take
To atone for her sins, Briony came to work as a nurse in a hospital instead of entering university.
By chance, she attends a wedding, that of Lola and Paul, and in return, he marries her. Then Briony vividly recalls that the man who raped Lola that summer had made a move to turn back, and he was the man in front of her, Paul. She wants to go over to her sister Cecilia and Robbie to confess, but reality doesn’t give her that chance.
7.Return
Briony lived her whole life in deep remorse, having lost the lives of two people whose happiness was ruined by her momentary stubborn prejudice.
8.Change
The only thing Briony could do was to tell their story and put it in the book. Filled with a deep sense of remorse and guilt in her heart.

Characters
Briony:, an outgoing, self-possessed yet imaginative, eccentric and elfin young girl
Cecilia: she is the image of an opinionated independent woman dignified, cool in appearance and resolute in character
Robbie: he is intelligent and gentle, he shows his infatuation for the person he loves through his eyes
Create a timeline for the main character starting before the film start.
Robbie’s unjust imprisonment(Original story line)
After an internal struggle Briony found a way to confess and make amends. She confessed to the world that she had perjured herself and sent Robbie to prison, but she herself had to suffer the scorn of all. So she went to the pond where Robbie had saved her and thought once more of the time when she had jumped into the river and Robbie had rescued her, and she wanted to put an end to it all. So she jumped into the pond once more and it was Robbie who rescued her just as she was about to sink to the bottom of the river. Celie and Robbie chose to forgive Briony. In the end Briony chose to go to college to study writing, Robbie joined the army because of the war and Briony waited for Robbie’s return at the beach house. Briony saw Robbie off with her sister Briony, but it was the last time the three of them were reunited. Eventually they waited for Robbie to be notified of his death in action and his sister Cecilia, unable to accept the fact that Robbie would not return, soon passed away. Briony writes the story through her writing, and she goes to the beach house where her sister and Robbie agreed to continue to wait for a Robbie who will never return….

Impacts and influences
Technology
Technology has revolutionised the animation profession, but it is undeniable that traditional 2D forms still exist and occupy a certain position in the animation profession, whether in 3D or stop-motion animation, traditional hand painting is used in the early stages, and furthermore, with the influence of technology, traditional painting can be created in digital media or AI, thus giving us more options. The impact of technology on art is not only in terms of technology, but also as a form of innovation.
