Week 20:Final Animation and Project 2 Showeel

In week 20, I added transition frames to the previous sections to make the whole picture look more comfortable, and also added some facial expressions such as blinking and the muscle movements of the cheekbones, which is a big challenge because it requires you to know the facial muscles very well to make the expressions more vivid and graphic.

Week 19:Animation and Project 2

After I finished all the keyframes in week 19, I finished the second half first, as I didn’t think the final visual looked very good, so I chose to place the part of the character’s left hand, directly on the table, and finally the arm along with it as the body leaned forward. It looks better this way and the animation looks much more complete and flows as expected.

Project 2

Final adjustment of the scenery and scaling

Week18:Animation Blocking Plus and Project2

In week 18, I made changes to the whole character dynamics as well as adding facial expressions, and then adjusted the rhythm of the whole animation to make the whole picture more comfortable. Visually it is more comfortable than the previous version, but regarding the mouth part, because there is a lot of musculature, you have to be aware that when you open your mouth to speak, it brings all the surrounding musculature together, so I think it is more difficult to animate the face than the body, but it is worth continuing the challenge

Project2

This week was spent tweaking the waterfall effect, as water is the more troublesome part of the animation, so water tweaking was time consuming, as well as trying to learn new things to do.

Week 17:Animation and Project 2

In week 17
Based on the feedback I made changes to the original animation
The main areas of change were in the body and the movements. To make the overall look smoother and more comfortable

Project2

The overall tone of the scene, as I chose a cartoon style, didn’t have to take as long to render as a realistic scene, but I was keen to create a waterfall, which I thought would suit the scene, so I’m going to look into what to do about the water effect.

Week16:Facial Animation Reference

Now it’s week 16
We started animating the face and we searched through the website to find some audio clips suitable for animation and I ended up choosing the line spoken by Bane from Batman: The Dark Knight Rises that “peace has cost u strength victory has defeated u”

Week 15 – Final Body and Project 2

Fifteen weeks
I’ve basically finished the body animation, but I don’t feel I’m very happy with it. There were probably some problems in the pre-staging and the body didn’t engage with the objects as well as I would have liked. So changes were made in the middle of the process, resulting in a picture that is not very good overall, but the good thing, is that it is a complete animation that clearly conveys the meaning of this picture.
In the original design, the chair part, could have been a little more casual. Perhaps a simpler approach would have been the best solution. So it was changed later on and it was better to just let the chair push away instead.

Project 2

Complete with basic topography.
The task of adding other elements will take place in the next week

Week 14 – Animation

Week 14.
Basically, all the keyframe parts have been defined
Now it’s just a matter of adding transitions between them to make the character more fluid and natural.
During this process, I found that I had a problem with the falling part of the character.
It wasn’t very satisfying because I couldn’t get a handle on how people bounced when they hit the ground and so on.
I tried to add some keyframes to deal with this, but the results were not satisfactory.

Week 13 – Animation Blocking and Project 2

In week thirteen, I made a change, replacing the original image of a chair that would fly overhead and smash in front of me with a scene where the chair is kicked straight out of the way and the atmosphere is expressed.
Perfected the whole picture all the way around.

Project 2

This week, for terrain editing, I used the terrain editing system and some of the material content to build my scenes, which facilitated my work and progress.

Week 12 – Animation and Project 2

In week 12 we are working on the keyframing of the animation. This one step facilitated the visualisation of our animation to completion. On this basis I improved my story a little. It ends with the man standing up and kicking the stool away to express the man’s frustration.
This is this week’s 3D version, which has not yet been changed
It will be available on Moodle next week as a video directly after the changes are made.

Project2

This week I have identified the basic style of animal
It’s a volumetric block of a bear, because the simple shape will make the overall picture look more comfortable and closer to the cartoon style, so I thought my scene must also match the animal.
I also wanted to try a cartoon style animation film this time

Week 11:Body Mechanics References & Sketches and Project2

It’s week 11, a new start!
This week we need to start completing a new 3D animation project, focusing on the scope of the character body exercise
We need to prepare a reference. We need to act as performers ourselves and record our own performances to complete it.
To be honest, I’m not really good at acting and what I wanted to do was a guy sitting in a chair and swaying around leisurely and then he slides off the chair and then the chair does a roll from back to front and to be honest I thought that was a bit ridiculous but I thought it was funny because I’ve been watching some films recently where there are these scenes that make people feel happy so I wanted to make this scene.
Then I drew up a hand-drawn version of the reference and a video reference to make it easier to animate

Project2

I have started to develop an idea for my project 2
I wanted to create an animation of an animal, as I had never tried to animate an animal before and I wanted to try it with a new software.
I probably wanted to make a process where a bear eats a poisonous mushroom and falls down by the river.
